Hmmmmm? What song captures today Slammer event? Did I get your attention? School's Out cause there were several academics playing today's event? Summertime...cause the golfing was easy....at least for some? Boys of Summer cause we love to Slamm!!...please don't get offended Slammettes? Hit It Hard...cause you get lots of roll? All of these songs captures some aspect of our love for summer Slammin' and golf. Under clear blue skies and the warmth of the sun, we came out to play golf, enjoy the course and our fellow competitors and we did it with golfer's etiquette, and for the love of the game...that's Slammin'. The Slammer Tour enjoyed the day with lots of bounces and rolls but greens that were watered, nutured, true, tricky and quick. These fellow Slammers at these Thursday's events are always so enjoyable and competitive. POP: It was slower than expected as 3 Slammer groups had to wait on numerous holes!

NOTABLE: Shananagan plays his 10th event in his Rookie season good enough for a free entry into the Sun Scramble and he goes undefeated today with a bird and a dog. He's a Slammer that will be tough to beat in the COmmish CUp! Great!!

QUICKSNAP DOGGIE REPORT: All 5 of the par 3s had a doggie winner worth 16 bones. Dogs were won by Skeeter (#3 @ 1ft), ShelGame (#7 @15ft), Juice (#12 @7ft), Shananagan(#14 @24ft) and PointZero (#16 @29ft)! Excellent!!
