Lots of bailage for today's event as 19 Slammers bailed prior to tee off. 11 Slammers teed off in what can be described as a very fine mist/drizzle which lasted for about 7 holes. The Slammers caught up to a tournament on the back 9 which slowed down the relatively quick pace we had going. But the sun did come out on the back 9 and it turned to be a nice way to finish off the match play golf. Two Slammers (Koala and Cracker) taking double dogs. Shorts, GoHabsGo, Bogey and KC hung out on the 19th to shoot the breeze and do the wrap up. Overall a very manageable and pleasant day playing Slammer golf.
GoHabsGo is in fine Slammer form as he successfully defends his lofty C1 rank against all comers defeating KC on the 13th, Bogey on the 14th and Cracker on the16th hole. He registered a birdie and he is striking the ball very well as he scores 5 below his median. Congratulations on a great performance, GoHabsGo.

Pine View was in good condition given the varied weather we have been experiencing lately. The greens varied from slow to quick due to the moisture we experienced in the front nine. No mud balls but lots of grass clipping on one's ball. As always the service from Pine View staff from the proshop to the 19th hole was super.
