It started off overcast making the Slammers wonder if the weatherman was wrong. However, it turned into a spectacular fall day just perfect for match play Slammer golf. A full slate of five groups came out to enjoy the golf and the weather at a course with such playable conditions and still open. Eight skins were won and 4 of the 5 doggies were taken. Punched greens made doggie winning a bit of a gamble. Thank you my fellow Slammers for a wonderful day Slammin’. Your OC, KC.
IronE is crowned the event winner today as he has an outstanding Slammer performance. He goes 3-0-0 as he defeats Duke, Bones and Hodgy. Golf magic happened as he scores 5 birdies, takes home 6 skins and wins a dog. IronE is the big bones winner just falling short of a C note. And IronE registers a score better than his median by shooting 1 over par. Yessirree a sweet 73. Congratulations IronE on such an outstanding Slammer performance.
